NECBB distinguishes itself as a cord blood bank by processing, testing, verifying, cryopreserving and storing your baby’s collected cells at our facility. In comparison to others in the industry, NECBB never sends any cord blood out to third parties for processing and storage. There is no safer environment for your baby’s cord blood than our laboratory, where we monitor your cells 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our technologically advanced laboratory is located in Newton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Boston is recognized as the country’s medical “hub” and is home to such respected, well-known institutions as Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Tufts Medical School, Boston University Medical School and Harvard Medical School.
